Fascia is a thin, tough, and continuous sheath of connective tissue that wraps around, supports, and separates every muscle, organ, bone, and nerve in the body. It is a collagen-based system that acts like a 3D web, providing structure, enabling movement, and transmitting force throughout the body
Many of us know little about it and the important role it plays in our body. As we age and watch our structure and skin begin to look different, or even as we are younger and notice cellulite on our legs and arms this is stuck fascia.
For the last few years my arms had these bumps underneath skin and a cellulite appearance around my biceps. My strategy was to continue lifting weights and swim to combat it and keep my arms firm. I still had muscle and arms were tight not saggy but skin appearance would not budge. I finally started using a wooden tool and massaging that area regularly where the skin was bumpy. Low and behold the skin texture changed and looks normal like the rest of my arm. Try massaging your body it really works! Reach out if you need more details!
